Where we had 12 survivors out of 54 entries on day 1A of the Main Event, a whopping 109 entries were made on the second opening flight of this event. Eventually, a total of 34 players managed to bag and tag their chips in this great structured tournament. High Roller Action!
The first High Roller of the series was scheduled to start at 17:00 local time, and after a sloppy start with only 9 entries, it eventually turned out to become a decent field of 39 entries. Marc Gork, who has been very active already during this series with good results in the tournaments and appearances in the Cash Game Challenges* live on stream, managed to get 2nd place (€9,250) in this event.
The winner of this event may not be forgotten as it's our own Martin 'Franke' von Zweigbergk who captured this prestigious PLO title (€14,300). Who would have thought that someone who knows only one word in pot-limit (pot, pot, pot), would be able to be victorious in this highly anticipated event? Even the crew of The Festival was somehow surprised when opening the result sheets in the morning!

The Hendon Mob Championship reaches its Final Day!
While The Hendon Mob Championship Finale takes place in Cape Town (South Africa) next week, there is still an opportunity to qualify for this event! How can you do that? Simply by winning this current The Hendon Mob Championship, as the winner will receive an added package the big final of this Championship worth €2,000 in total. Currently, there are 63 players left in this competition and you will be able to follow every live as we are turning up the live stream from 18:45 onwards on Thursday, November 21st. Before we reached that point, there was one opening flight still to be played down to the end of blind level 16.
Eventually, the total amount of 219 entries made on this flight, went down to just 35 surviving players. Jason Shellum did very well for himself as he managed to emerge in the chip leader position with 533,000 chips. Other notable names who went through this flight are pokertime.cz's David Vesely, Aleksandar 'Wishiper96' Georgiev, and Johan Ekdahl.
