Recap: The Hendon Mob Qualifier
Last Friday it was time for the special Hendon Mob Qualifier. Players could enjoy pure excitement by playing a satellite tournament with a buy-in of just €20, with additional re-buys and add-ons available. A total of three whopping Hendon Mob packages were guaranteed in the prize pool, of €1,000 each. This satellite was available to all online partners who make use of the iPoker software . The Hendon Mob, one of the main partners of our Festival Series live event, has been quite in the picture lately. Not only because they are the main search engine in the poker industry when it comes to live poker information about players, tournaments, and events, but also because a unique qualifier would be held on Friday 8th of March. By collecting one of these unique packages, players would have secured two tournament entries for the €250 Hendon Mob Championship tournament in Rozvadov, guaranteeing a whopping €200,000 in prize money. Additional, accommodation would be covered for five nights in a 4* Hotel, and two famous collector items in the likes of an official Festival Series Cap would be included.
The Hendon Mob Qualifier
The tournament started off with already 50 players registered for the event, and with 90-minutes of late reg available, it would most definitely rise up to new heights. Players from all over Europe, and beyond, would all start with a start stack of 15,000 chips. Re-buys would be available through the entire registration period, and were worth 20,000 chips. After the registration period had finished, and the add-ons were completed (40,000 chips), a total of 146 unique entries participated in the event. With all the re-buys and add-ons gathered together, the total prize pool went up to € 4258,80! Good for 4x Full Hendon Mob Packages!
Many players who are playing one of the daily feeder tournaments through various poker operators, which are also connected to The Hendon Mob Package Qualifier, found themselves in the mix as well of this tournament. Chasing perhaps another package for The Festival Series Rozvadov.
Eventually, several familiar faces would play themselves to the Final Table of the Event!
Four Winners Crowned of a package for The Festivals Rozvadov
A total of four winners would be awarded in the event. And in the end the stacks were so shallow, that having a bigger stack would mean it would become inevitable to not win one of the packages! Let that player be our own Martin 'Franke' von Zweigbergk! The old man (He became 50-years-old not too long ago), managed to have a great run in the tournament.

Franke: "It is quite funny that a fish like me can, with parts luck and parts randomness, win a package, I mean what are the odds on that? Should be 1/146, but when your name is 'Franke' and you play like Franke, the odds of winning a package is one in a million. Still - Oops I did it again - Britney Spears."
