Twin Jack Who Consistently Scoring 21

It's almost time, the fourth edition of The Festival Series will shake the European poker industry to its foundations with an amazing arsenal of tournaments. Multiple poker formats are available to be rammed during the week of February 12 through February 19. Not only will there be poker tournaments, but there are also hospitality events available, as well as cash games all day long, casino games and many more!

The Festival Series has again added great casino games to their range this year, in tournament form! In recent editions, one could already get acquainted with blackjack and roulette tournaments, and oh dear, what a spectacle it was. Blackjack and roulette are like twin brothers who sometimes run alone but never walk alone. As befits a real tournament series, we are constantly working to ensure that the tournaments run as smoothly as possible. This year we have therefore made a number of changes to the format of these tournaments.

Meet Twin number One - Jack aka Blackjack

Blackjack is a casino banking game. It is by far the most popular casino game in the world. With a deck of 52 cards, it was born when a family of casino banking games introduced it, called twenty-one. Never forget this, you are not playing against other players, but against the bank. A very important fact for this eccentric game.

However, there are also real blackjack tournaments, and The Festival Series will again be the setting for this. You even don’t need to have actual experience for this game, it is quickly to be mastered, and because you will have chips in front of you who don’t count as real cash but as points, you will have plenty of time to learn the game properly.

Are you curious how it all went down in Bratislava or Tallinn, during the events in 2022?

Previous Blackjack winners:

Aleksandrs Leonovs: " The Blackjack tournament was a strong challenge for me. As I have a background in mathematics, I wanted to test myself and see if I could combine my skills in probability calculation with strategic thinking. Since I won, it seems like it was successful. If possible, I would play again with pleasure."

Marek Kotelnikov: "I qualified for the tournament through the Tallinn preliminary round, and initially I didn't know what to expect. When I made it through the opening round, I wonder if I am good in this game or just lucky. In the final, I was a little luckier than the other finalists, but as all know, to win you always need a little bit of luck. I hope that the Festival will return to Tallinn some day, as I currently have no opportunity to visit the events in Nottingham or Malta due to my daily job."

Andreas Hoglund: "Swedes are the best Blackjack players. My win is a clear example of this. If any UK player, e.g. JJ Hazan, thinks they are better, let them come and prove it at the table, not talk about it in internet forums, that they once got 21. We all have gotten that. Otherwise, Blackjack games wouldn't exist"

Brenda - Advocate: "Thank you, Andreas, I will now take over the conversation. Here I remind everyone that despite everything, both poker and blackjack are gambling games and please play only with the funds you can afford to lose. Don't go on tilt and if you do, take a break from the game. A refreshing cup of tea usually calms things down, but I am not a doctor and if you feel like you need real help, don't be ashamed to ask for help from professionals."

LF aka "Legendary Footballer": "I remember very precisely when I signed my first professional contract with Notts County and the moment I wanted to run onto Meadow Lane's field for the first time in my life, the club's groundskeeper stopped me with the words: "A Boy, where are you rushing to? Don´t you know that first, you have to clean your football boots before stepping onto the holy grail? Exactly as if it all happened yesterday, I remember the name of this man - Jack Black, with such a large and strong physique. A muscular beanpole and if a lawn tractor would be in use at that time, he would have probably been able to lift it up with one hand."

NSLF aka "Not So Legendary Footballer: "What are you talking about Jack Black? You mean Black Jack? A Whiskey which is made of corn, grain and malt distillates aged for at least 9 months?"

IT-Nerd: "The Blackjack tournament will take place on Wednesday, the same day as the final day of the Pokerlistings Championship."
