The Festival Series 2024 – Update
The Festival Series 2024 schedule is finalized as of today with three stops in total. This sadly means that the stop which was planned to be held at the end of February will not be happening. It has been attempted to complete the deal but got blasted off in the end. This means that the very first stop of 2024 will be a massive stop at the King’s Casino in Rozvadov! Qualifiers will kick off this Sunday and with more than five months of ramping up to the event, it is promised to become a true qualifiers’ paradise!
The first event at the King’s Resort in Rozvadov will be held from May 31 until June 9th. Ten days full of poker action and hospitality events like you have not seen before at The Festival Series. Mixed games will be shining on the big stage in the heart of the European poker industry, with a grand main event and numerous side events! It will be the very first time to set foot on Czech Republic soil and we hope you are looking forward to it as much as we do!
Qualifiers will kick off this upcoming Sunday on Optibet, where Martin ‘Franke’ von Zweigbergk will be streaming his online poker skills as well as he joins the ranks of Latvian Twitch streamer and Optibet ambassador Gatis Reigass. Besides the qualifier on Optibet, all of you also have the chance on already qualify for Rozvadov through either the Coolbet Passport qualifiers or Betsson Group Live Package qualifiers.
The first scheduled stop is cancelled
At first, it was planned to have our first next edition of The Festival Series being held from February 25th, until March 3rd. Just like with any other negotiations or deals, there is the possibility that it eventually does not get a positive conclusion. We are just as sad as you all might be, but we do not lose any of our enthusiasm for our next confirmed events. We can assure you that many great things are coming up, so stay tuned and keep track of our webpage and social media channels for all further information.
The second stop of 2024: Portomaso Casino, Malta
Earlier this we announced our return to the beautiful island of Malta. Portomaso Casino, known for hosting many great live events, will be on the schedule in the high season from September 9-15. Last year it was Norwegian Oystein Brenden who took down the Main Event for a bit more than €60,000! The date, as well as the location, are perfect to combine your holidays and a mix of poker events, casino game tournaments, and Franke’s Flip ‘n Go games!
Final stop of 2024: Banco Casino, Bratislava
As per usual, we will return home at the end of the year from November 18-24. Banco Casino will host our Festival Series for the fourth consecutive year, having met all our wishes to organize our event in the best possible way at the previous stops. The previous edition gave us a new Main Event Champion in Polish young gun Gabriel Rymar, taking home another €80,000, on top of his €14,400 win in the Bratislava Deepstack tournament.
