The Festival Series Rozvadov is around the corner and from May 31st we will be hosting our first event of 2024! The place to be, like the whole year for live poker, is the amazing King's Resort in Rozvadov. We took the main man of Europe's Largest Poker Room aside, Poker Director Federico Brunato!
Thanks to the great collaboration with everyone at the King's Resort to be able to prepare our very first event of 2024, we are absolutely star-truck to be having our event in Rozvadov. But what does the King's Resort think of the upcoming event? Are they aware of what is coming towards them? Yes, of course! But let's go into it and ask them their point of view!
Melvin, The Festival: The Festival Series Rozvadov is coming close! Kings Casino is busy throughout the entire year with so many live events, but how much are you looking forward to our event? Are there any key things you looking forward to the most?
Federico, King’s Resort: ‘’Of course, we have an event every week with guarantees from 300.000€ to several millions, so we don't get stuck in the course of the year and try to offer what no one else is offering at the moment. But of course, what is unbelievable elsewhere is becoming almost routine here, so The Festival is the perfect opportunity to offer something completely new again for players with new experiences outside of poker. We have a great schedule of events for players and will also have a cool Fun Zone open in the casino throughout the event with various free games outside of poker.’’

Melvin, The Festival: We’ve recently published an article about transportation towards Rozvadov. In your experience, how do players often tend to travel to your resort when they are coming from countries such as Norway, Sweden, Netherlands, UK, or Estonia?
Federico, King’s Resort: ‘’They usually prefer to fly to one of the nearby airports Prague, Munich, or Numberg and then either rent their car or order a transfer via our shuttle service. Melvin, The Festival: Rozvadov is a rather small place close to the German border. Players often mention that it’s only about poker in Rozvadov. We, with the help of King’s Resort, will try and give those thoughts a make-over with the fully-packaged hospitality events schedule. What’s your take on the current hospitality schedule?

Melvin, The Festival: Kings is the place to be for live poker. Recently the WSOPE has revealed the schedule for the 2024 edition. At The Festival Series, you can win a ticket for the Main Event. Do you have any information available that might be interesting for possible winners to already know?
Federico, King’s Resort: ‘’What we can say is that the tickets that players can win are for the Day 1A WSOPE Main Event on Friday, where we expect more than 400 qualifiers. The full schedule can already be found on our website with all side events and satellites. I recommend booking accommodation for this festival in advance on our website as demand can be very high and there will be fewer rooms available as the festival of the WSOPE gets closer.’’
